Drake Brignac is a multi-certified cybersecurity professional with over a decade of experience across information security, enterprise operations, and adversary-focused research. His career stems from a lifelong curiosity for how systems work and how to secure them. From a young age, Drake was the kid who had to understand everything he touched. He took apart toys, rebuilt gadgets, and even engineered a custom mechanism to control his bedroom lights from bed. That curiosity quickly evolved into computing. By 13, he was building gaming PCs; by 16, he was studying adversarial techniques through a controlled 40+ node Perl-based Slowloris lab built on retired game servers and PHP web shells. These early experiments shaped his future in threat hunting and adversary simulation. Drake holds a Master’s in Applied Computing Technologies, a Bachelor’s in Applied Information Technology, and an Associate’s in Computer Networking & Information Systems—blending academic depth with practical experience across the security landscape. Today, he works as a Cybersecurity Advisor at a Fortune 1000 enterprise, specializing in threat hunting, purple teaming, adversary simulation, and detection engineering. He has helped organizations across multiple industries strengthen their defenses, meet compliance requirements, and build resilient security programs. Driven by curiosity and refined through hands-on research, Drake approaches cybersecurity with a blend of offensive insight, defensive strategy, and practical problem-solving.
